24/07/09 http://www.kinglake.vic.a/ received the following message:

"I have a bicycle that I don't nead any more and would be happy to give to some one who perhaps has lost theirs in the fires or can't afford to buy one.

The bike is a Shogun metro [Hybrid type bike] it is about 15 years old but has had rarely been used with new tyes, brakes and gear selectors.

It is a 19" frame wich suits people of medium hight [5'6"-5'10"]

So if you know any fire victims who could use it please let me know.

15/4/09 - A retired couple in Glen Iris are donating a variety of items to a worthy cause including: timber fencing, picket fencing, large terracotta pots, garden equipment, large television set (with manual and remote), video player, videos, CD's, brand new queen size doona cover. Everything in perfect condition.

Items will need to be picked up.

27/3/09 - The Boronia RSL have some gym equipment that we would like to donate to a sporting organisation that have lost theirs. The equipment is in excellent condition. - more info

26/3/09 - www.kinglake.vic.au received the following message:

"Hello Kinglake community, our family business supplies and installs service station petrol pumps. We would like to offer our services to anyone who has lost this type of equipment and was not covered by insurance. Please call Rachel on 03-5342-2207." 

25/3/09 - Michael Thomson is volunteering services of his mini digger to those in Kinglake and surrounding areas to help with rebuilding communities.
